See what it takes to shatter an on-air record!

Robert Ripley made his official foray into the world of radio with NBC in the 1930s. Among many peculiar media firsts, he was the first to broadcast underwater with his Marineland stunt in St. Augustine, Florida, on February 23, 1940. He milked a porpoise on-air and then spoke from inside his diving suit while feeding sharks!
